Previously on It's a Wonder-full Life: Diana visited the pool and then tried to throw a party. Zombies popped up, but Diana met another werewolf so the party wasn't a total disaster.
Diana sold some of her meteor bits to afford a little new furniture. She's been wanting a stove, but I don't think that we need anymore fire on the lot for awhile.
Diana decided to make a nice salad for lunch instead of eating icky brains. I think that's progress!
And she really enjoyed eating a meal at a table again, instead of sitting on the couch. She didn't even have any arguments with the suls!
Off to work. The physic rabbit hole is really cute.
After work, more socializing! Diana went to the park, where she had a nice picnic with the Younan sisters. They seemed friendly enough, but Diana was interrupted by a phone call from Frank! He asked her out on a date!
Since they were going out to a club, she decided swimwear was a good option. When she got there, she yelled to Frank to come see her! She does this every time she wants someone to pay attention to her.
Frank is still attracted to her, which is good. If only we could get a good look at him!
Seriously, he's always in the dark with his big hat in front of his face! But, apparently, he's a good story teller and Diana ignored everything and everyone to listen to him.
Ahhh... there we go! Frank's cute!
Hey, Diana, did you know that Frank's a werewolf?
Why, yes, she did know that. Luckily, Diana apparently has a thing for werewolves!
Yeah, Diana definitely likes werewolves.
In fact, she got so comfortable with Frank that she decided to unleash the crazy.
Uh, Diana? It might be a little early in the relationship to do that...
Judging by the look on Frank's face, he agrees! This can't be good.
Sure enough, he rejected all of her interactions from that point on. The date had been going very well, but the crazy caused several person-minuses to happen.
I made Diana apologize to him, but it was too late. The date was over!
Diana went home and blamed the suls for the whole thing.
Oh no! It went so well and then...what happened exactly? I'm not sure I got that.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Frank really is a cute guy and maybe they can fix what went wrong. Or she will meet another sweet potential. Either way, I can't wait!
I'm really not sure what happened either. I was letting them interact autonomously once the flirting started happening, just to see what they did. Diana queued up an interaction that said something like "talk crazy" and I let it play out because I was so curious about it... and then it all went bad!
DeletePoor Frank wasn't prepared for the crazy!
Aaah I think I get it now. Insane sims have that option to "talk crazy" or similiar, which basically means they start talking about anything that is weird, like the danger of pools or something. ;)Usually the other sim looks puzzled, but their relationship improves afterwards. Maybe they weren't close enough for that (although this almost always works!. But if Frank couldn't handle that, maybe he isn't the right guy for her. :(
DeleteYeah, I don't think that Frank was ready for the full force of Diana's craziness! Maybe he'll be able to adjust, maybe not...
DeleteWhee! I certainly hope that the relationship with Frank can be repaired!
ReplyDeleteI though that "Talk Crazy" and "Talk about conspiracies" and so forth always hurt relationships unless you were talking to another sim (Neurotic, Insane) who would sympathize. That's certainly the way things went with Shanni's conspiracy talk way back when she was a teen. But Ada got more positive reactions from her crazy talk. I'm not sure how it works.
So far, Allison has mostly talked crazy to herself, so I don't know how it will go with her.
Frank is really cute and Diana likes him, so I hope it works out.
DeleteThat "talk crazy" really didn't work out for her, so I might have to keep an eye on that kind of thing the next time they get together! Frank's face cracked me up, though.
Insane sims sure do things you don't expect huh? Lol! Diana needs someone who loves her for who she is.
ReplyDeletePoor Diana. She just can contain herself.
DeleteAnd things were going so well, too....
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to control the crazy.
