1.4 Library flash mob

Previously on It's a Wonder-full Life, the world ended again. Diana managed to avoid  being killed by the meteor but it took out almost all of her furniture.

Do you suppose she's a meteor magnet? Or is she just super unlucky?

At least she finally got a good night's sleep!

Screenshot

Since she apparently doesn't work on Tuesdays, Diana spent the day cleaning up. Surprisingly, she did it without complaint and without just wandering off! Two meteor strikes netted us 160 piles of scrap, 9 tiny space rocks, 9 large space rocks, and 2 gigantic space rocks! Some of that is sure to come in handy eventually, but she might appreciate selling some of it to bring in some money to rebuild, too...

Screenshot-3

We also built a little area for the graves from the first two meteor strikes.

Screenshot-5

Then Diana spent some time talking with the suls about not throwing meteors at her anymore.

Screenshot-7

I'm not sure who won the discussion.

Screenshot-10

But Diana certainly made a strong argument!

Screenshot-12

She would like to be a mystic. She'll have to wait until tomorrow to go to work, though.

Screenshot-17

In the meantime, it was time to be social! Let's go out for dinner! Which requires athletic wear, of course.

Screenshot-18

The bistro was empty, so Diana headed to the library. She'd heard that it was a known hangout for supernaturals and she really wanted to meet one.

Weirdly, much of the town was standing in rows outside the library! (It was almost like The Truman Show where everyone stands around waiting for the main character to show up.) And we thought Diana was crazy!

Screenshot-20

Having fulfilled the requirements of their apparent flash mob, the denizens of Moonlight Falls headed into the library. They created a traffic jam large enough that it took Diana over an hour just to make it into the building.

Screenshot-22

But look! If Diana stands near another fairy, it almost looks like she has wings!

Screenshot-24

Alas, the pretty wings are not hers. (Side note: I switched to Twallan's decensor. Diana has wings in CAS, but not in "life". And other fairies obviously have them. I don't know.)

Screenshot-25

In her quest to meet new people, Diana introduced herself to Ivy Pappas.

Screenshot-26

Then she flirted with her and Ivy was not impressed. Is this a fairy thing? Diana flirts with everyone she meets!

Screenshot-28

One of the library patrons had an accident right there in the library! The bathrooms are just behind that bookcase on the left there... he really should have been able to make it since he wasn't doing anything else.

Screenshot-30

Diana was so shocked at witnessing such a display that she promptly walked over to the corner of the room and fainted dead away!

Screenshot-33

We're not counting this as "passing out" since it was related to the drama and not exhaustion. However, if this is going to be how she reacts every time someone pees on the floor, she's in the wrong kind of legacy!

Screenshot-37

There now, all better.

Screenshot-38

Once Diana was alert again, she finally managed to meet a supernatural. Here she is talking to Earl Gomez, a werewolf. She liked him quite a lot. But then she decided that she wanted to meet a vampire.

Screenshot-42

So here's Stan Bahl. He acted like he didn't want to talk to her, but really he did.

Screenshot-46

It's like her own little Twilight saga! Team Earl! Team Stan!

Screenshot-49

Later, Diana went home to discover that the ghost of Jane had popped up to check out her new digs.

Screenshot-50

The next afternoon, it was finally time to go to work. Diana got up and lost an argument with her fist first.

Screenshot-52

Then it was off to work!

    Bwahaha!

You met totally different sims than I did. And a lot of interesting faces! It almost makes me wish Allison had explored more before narrowing down her options. I'm going to enjoy playing around in Moonlight Falls.

    Ivy Pappas was hot!

    1. I was really hoping that Diana would hit it off with Ivy, but unfortunately they didn't get along well at all! Diana really had her heart set on a supernatural, anyway, apparently.

The Library really is the place to be!

  2. Insane sims are soooo awesome! The faces they sometimes pull and the fights with their hands... too funny.
I never knew that a library could attract so many people at the same time - especially since I doubt that they are all bookworms. Thanks for putting that situation this way, it was really funny to read :D

    1. The library thing was really weird, but it was handy to be able to socialize with several people at once!

And, a whole day with no meteors!

  3. Moonlight Falls is so great isn't it? It's my favourite town to play in as you can fit so much into it! I'm glad that no meteors hit Diana this time :)

Also, hope you've all settled in to the new house now?

    1. Also, it's very strange that Diana's wings don't show up. My insane little fairy has beautiful wings ...

    2. Our new house in real life? Yes, we're settled in! No more sleeping in the same room as all the kids and critters! There's still a lot to do, but at least we can breathe now.

I love Moonlight Falls, it's so pretty! I miss Diana's wings, though. I might try to figure that out sometime, but right now I'm just happy that her game will play!

  4. Hmm, I hope she is able to get her wings at some point. They're one of my favorite things about fairies... maybe the ltr (Queen of the Fae?) would get them to come back if she picked different wings than what she's supposed to have? Just a theory anyway.

Moonlight falls is really cool! I haven't really met a lot of people in it yet, but it seems to be a really lovely town, I'm glad I get to see it in your ISBI.

    1. The wings still make me sad. I just can't figure out why she doesn't have them! She doesn't seem to have any other fairy powers, either, but she certainly acts like a fairy!

      I love Moonlight Falls.

    2. Yeah, the wing thing really isn't fair. I suppose it makes for more to discover in future generations.

  5. Loving this so far. Quick question, In the Ivy Pappas pic, there's a townie in the background with what looks like really awesome hair. Do you know where you got it? I'd love to get it into my game.

    1. The medusa hair? I have no idea... off of the exchange, anyway. I'll have to look that up next time I've fired up the Sims machine.
