1.29 Drama at the birthday

Previously on It's a Wonder-full Life: Lots of people stood around complaining about being exhausted but not actually going to bed. They also continued to complain about the scratched up furniture. Like it's not their own fault. Clark went to school but not actually INto it. Then he had a stalker. Linda did not even attempt to go to school. Diana and Frank were cute with their kids.

Sigh. You see, Linda? This is what happens when you won't stay in your bed! Look! It's right there! You got out of it to pass out!

Screenshot-40

Meanwhile, come on Frank! You are in the room with the toilet!

Screenshot-41

I really am starting to worry about Linda's feelings for her little brother.

Screenshot-42

Later, it's Kent's birthday!

Linda celebrates by passing out again. Not even Grim can believe the fact that she keeps getting out of bed to pass out!

Screenshot-43

Anyway, Kent's turn to grow up. Diana managed to teach him how to walk and talk, but there was no potty training. He received the bookwork trait to go with his insane and genius traits! I think he's starting to sound like a little mad scientist!

Screenshot-45

Awww... he loves his mom!

Screenshot-46

Screenshot-47

Tawana and Linda complaining about the furniture instead of watching the sparkles. Tawana is one of Diana's co-workers. She recently got married and has been homeless ever since. She's also enemies with her husband. That kind of seems like an interesting story there.

Screenshot-52

So here's little Kent. I think he picked a really good outfit for his traits!

Screenshot-53

This sim had a little trouble with the window.

Screenshot-54

This couple (Zack and Suraya, according to my notes) got really friendly during the party. Really, really friendly. I was a little worried that they were going to woohoo right there in the kids' room! But luckily, they got interrupted by the woman who finally managed to pull her head back in through the window.

Screenshot-55

Kent joins the family tradition of complaining about the furniture to anyone who will listen.

He's sitting with Tawana and her enemy/husband Jack. (And stinky Frank, of course.)

I'm not sure if Linda wants to sit on Tawana's lap or if she's trying to steal cake!

Screenshot-56

Aaaannnnd, the Frank cleaning genes kick in! I love you, Frank!

Screenshot-57

Clark missed out on the party because he was visiting his new friend, though I forgot to write down the friend's name. I'm not sure what they did all afternoon, but when I went to check Clark was brushing his teeth! In the sink.

Screenshot-58

Linda got the pass out hat trick!

Screenshot-59

Later, Clark is brushing his teeth. Again.

Is that all you did at your friend's house, Clark? Because you'll be moving out soon and probably should figure out how to handle social situations a little bit better than this.

Screenshot-60

Apparently, Kent dresses up for bedtime stories!

I don't have a lot of faith in him actually going to sleep in a bed, though.

Screenshot-61

Clark came home!

Then he peed on the bathroom floor! (Seriously, what is it with peeing in the room with the toilet?! You can't make it another few steps?)

Then he passed out.

Must have been some night out!

Screenshot-62

Frank was so annoyed by the peeing and sleeping that he wolfed out!

I don't blame you, Frank. I kind of feel the same!

Screenshot-63

And then, even though he's been raised by a wolf and has two were siblings, Clark wandered into his bedroom and fainted away from the shock of seeing his dad transform! This does not get included in the "passing out" count because it's emotional, but really? You get freaked out by it now?! After seeing it happen your whole life?!

1.28 Werewolves don't need school

Previously on It's a Wonder-full Life: Um... it's been awhile, let me check... Oh yeah! Frank laughed at Death! Also, Linda got out of bed to pass out, which makes no sense at all. Unfortunately, it wasn't even the only time she passed out during that chapter. And Clark had a birthday and became an adorable teen fairy.

Kent has cute glow-y eyes. I'm not sure where the color came from, but I dig them!

Screenshot

I don't know what everyone is doing here, other than standing around staring in random directions. They should be doing something productive, like going to bed!

Screenshot-3

But, apparently, it's more fun to just stand there complaining that they're tired.

Screenshot-5

And then just standing there some more.

Frank apparently thinks that money grows in those trees... which may explain why he's in no rush to actually go to work most of the time!

Screenshot-6

I sent Diana over to distract Frank from just standing around, but then he and Clark started complaining about the furniture again. Clark is probably going to be happy to move out of this place and into a home where no one is scratching everything up!

Also, Linda apparently lost an arm.

Screenshot-8

Frank is stinky so I tried to get Diana to seduce him into the shower. Of course, she can't actually get to him because he's in her way!

Screenshot-12

Meanwhile, the only kid who is well rested came out to complain about the furniture.

Screenshot-14

And then he went to work destroying the last intact chair!

Screenshot-17

The school bus and carpool arrive every day. Does anyone see what's missing here?

Yep, the actual sims who are supposed to be getting into those vehicles!

Screenshot-20

Clark did finally dress up and run for the bus. He went all the way to school and then just stood outside smirking.

Screenshot-25

Eventually, he wandered around to the school's playground and took a nap on the bench. The blond woman there (I didn't write down who she was) just stood there and watched him. For hours.

Screenshot-26

Linda didn't go to school, of course. I'm pretty sure that she hasn't made it to school any day other than her very first day of school. She almost put herself to bed, but then Kent woke up complaining that he was hungry and she decided that he had a good point.

Screenshot-27

Meanwhile, Clark is still at school. And that girl is still staring at him.

Screenshot-31

Awww, look at all of the wolves! Frank went to feed Kent while Linda got herself a snack.

Screenshot-33

Then, he put Linda to bed! I love Frank.

Screenshot-34

I had Diana spend some time taking care of the rest of Kent's needs in the hopes that Frank would go get some sleep. It didn't work. He decided to just hang out in the rocking chair instead.

Screenshot-35

I noticed that the weird girl is creeping closer to Clark so I sent Diana to go bring him home.

Screenshot-36

He complained about being hungry and tired, of course. You know Clark, there's food at home... maybe you should try visiting!

I had Diana group up with Clark and take him home.

Screenshot-38

When they got there, Linda was out of bed again. Seriously, that kid pops out of bed all the time! No matter who puts her to bed or how many times!

I think Clark feels a little left out, though. Of course, he could hang out with Frank more if he came home from school!

On the plus side, no fails in this chapter!

Generation 2 Torch Holder

Apparently, my poll was messed up! I only had 2 votes recorded and I know that there were more than that... so I'm going to use the votes from the comment section.

Clark: 2 votes
Linda: 3 votes
Kent: 0 votes (poor Kent)

So the winner by a nose is Linda! (Assuming my count is correct.)

Next time I'm in my ISBI game, I'll try to remember to put Clark up on the Exchange for those of you who want him!
