Previously on It's a Wonder-full Life: Linda had a birthday, which means two toddlers in the house! Diana finally went back to work. Frank continued to be the best ISBI spouse ever.
Floating toddlers, just for fun.
Uh, Diana? What's going on there?
No! No. No. No. You couldn't possibly be pregnant again! There have been no TFBs, no risky woohoos, no lullabies! There has only been regular woohoo. I've been monitoring Frank and his constant seductions.
Seriously. She switched into this. Apparently, it's maternity swim wear for her. She's pregnant. Again. How did they even manage that? This is the second time I've been caught off guard by a pregnancy from non-risky woohoo and no lullaby (Ariel over in the Hodgins wishacy did it to me, too...). Game glitch? I am not amused.
Let's recover with a little cute Linda toddler spam.
Oh! Look! She's a werewolf!
Also, leave the furniture alone! Between Linda and Frank, we won't have any furniture left if they keep that up!
Diana got out of bed to tend to one of the kids. Then she apparently forgot how to get back in. The bed is blocking her path to the bed...
Then it was Clark's birthday. Again, we threw a party in the (probably futile) attempt to get some career advancement out of Diana.
She snuggled him one last time before attempting to take him to his cake.
Unfortunately, the crowd outside of the nursery was too big for her to be able to get out the door!
And this was the least annoying thing to happen during this party!
Really. The party started at 3 in the afternoon and it was after dark by the time Diana and Clark managed to make it outside.
After dark on a full moon! When will I learn to check the moon phase before planning a party? Apparently never.
Just outside the door, at least three guests also fur-sploded into werewolves! And a couple of zombies popped up! Which meant that Diana completely forgot that she was trying to cake Clark in the first place.
Then a couple of guests got so freaked out that they peed! Random guests don't count.
One of the zombies was so disturbed by the peeing that she passed out!
Another guest tried to play the guitar to calm everyone down, but it didn't work. Another hit guest hit the ground.
And another. Worst party ever. I'm glad that none of these count toward my total, though!
Sigh. This one does. Poor little Linda was trapped outside during the whole mob scene and neither of her parents could get to her to put her to bed.
Eventually, the party was over and no birthday happened. Diana put Clark down in his room and then put Linda to bed before going to sleep herself. Then Frank took Clark into the bathroom to feed him (whatever, Frank!) and went to bed.
Clark roamed back into the nursery and hid behind the potty. I don't blame him, it was a crazy day. It's definitely the strangest place for a birthday that I've seen, though!
Poor Clark, growing up in a potty. He added Easily Impressed to his Insane and Hydrophobic Traits. And he looks a lot like Frank!
Baby has wings!!!! Looks like this little boy is a fully fledged fairy, unlike his mother :)
ReplyDeleteHe might look like his dad, but lets hope he is as good an idiot as his dad ;)
Clark does fairy stuff and everything! I'm so glad that Diana was able to pass that along, even if she doesn't actually get to be a fairy.
DeleteFrank's genes are super strong, I do hope that his other traits follow too!
OK, THIS was a birthday fit for an ISBI! I couldn't stop laughing. I'm sure it was less entertaining to play than it was to read.
ReplyDeleteClark has a great face too.
Oh, right, and Diana is seriously preggers? She didn't just eat bad food?
DeleteYou don't have Woohooer set to "All Woohoo is Risky" do you? I am baffled as to how she keeps getting knocked up. (Obviously so are you :-p)
It really was a spectacularly ridiculous fail of a party!
DeleteDiana is definitely pregnant, I checked. And I couldn't believe it! I don't have the "all risky" woohoo set and there weren't any lullabies. There has been non-baby-inducing woohoo as well, so it's not like it happens every time! I don't know if it's a glitch or what (I should probably make sure my mods are all up to date), but it is adding a high level of uncertainty to my games!
Yay! I think 3 is the perfect number of kids for a sim. I'm sure the new baby will add all kinds of fail to your far too functional ISBI. (Though the parties don't seem to be all that functional) Hey, that's what we read ISBI's for. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to three kids, seeing as how that's what I have in real life!
DeleteBut, yeah, it might be the straw that breaks the function-ISBI's back... Diana and Frank have had it too easy. At least until this party happened!
Poor babe, aging up in a toilet? He is very cute though. And this party, this is an ISBI party! Hmm, yeah, you really might want to start watching that moon thing, although I am enjoying the zombies.
ReplyDeleteThe floating toddlers were funny, and the pic of her holding Clark, why do they give their babies the stare of doom? EA has some weird looks they've put in.
Yep. This chapter was full of the fail! Poor Clark and his potty birthday.
DeleteThe zombies do add a certain atmosphere to a party, don't they?
