1.21 Do you think I'm wolfy?

Previously on It's a Wonder-full Life: Frank earned some money! Then he slept outside of his office. Diana took care of the kids and even managed to teach Linda to walk. Clark was a good kid. Linda destroyed some furniture.

Frank finally came home from work, so Diana attempted to seduce him into the shower. It really is the most efficient way to get rid of the stink cloud.

It didn't work, though, because she forgot that that's what she was trying to do. Frank washed the dishes instead, because he's awesome!

This picture reminds me of that old dish soap ad with the manicures, though... you're soaking in it!

Screenshot-29

Everyone hates the sofa now that Linda's scratched it all up. I'm not buying them any new furniture until the baby weres are grown, though!

Screenshot-30

Frank went to work for a second day in a row! Go, Frank!

He's definitely staying wolf-y longer this time, though. We're at least half-way through the moon cycle here!

I've found out since that weres can wolf out on a not-full-moon if their mood gets bad enough... maybe that's why he's wolfy so long? He's not running red or anything, though. Hmmm...

After school, Clark wanted to go to his friend Alysia's house. When I went to check on him, he was standing on the porch, no classmate in sight. And he was randomly arguing with Diana's co-worker Tawana!

Screenshot-32

I really wish I knew what was going on here. Because then they changed clothes.

Screenshot-34

And Clark laughed at Tawana.

Since it was birthday time for both Linda and Kent, Diana threw a party. I keep hoping that she'll have time during the parties to expand her fortune teller clientele but that never seems to happen.

A random fairy did stand around laughing at her, though! As if Diana wasn't self-conscious enough about her lack of wings and fairy skills! That's just mean, random fairy.

Screenshot-37

Another party, another traffic jam outside of the kids' bedroom.

Screenshot-38

Diana had to pee and Kent was screaming, so I put in another door.

Screenshot-39

But no one used it. Really, Diana? Sigh.

  1. I love your summaries of the action so far. They make me laugh every time.

I'm starting to hope that the someday Sims 4 will add some more intelligent routing. I mean, in normal situations, real humans see that there's a crowd ahead of them and GET IN A QUEUE.

This is particularly true for things like the crowd at the school. I watch the kids try to go places, tap their feet, wave their hands, get randomly out of each other's way, and nobody actually gets in the school house. It's so sad.

    End rant.

    1. I know exactly what you mean. The crowding drives me nuts!

Than again... use the new door!!!

  2. Sims Logic really makes me laugh and scream at the same time. I agree that the game needs a more intelligent routing system ... I mean, how hard is it to walk through a door?!

  3. Cute chapter, although not much happens (due to the sims' unability to move without standing in each other's way every now and then).. :) I can't wait to see Diana and Kent grow up!

Talking about the routing system - that problem is annoying in the sims' everyday life already. But as soon as you need them to get somewhere ON TIME, it gets reaaaally irritating. I just bought University Life and my sims never get to class on time, because they wait in front of the building for hours. Sigh.

    1. I know, it was either have a super long chapter that actually included the birthdays or have the chapter end there. If they would just move things along, it would be fine!

I'm surprised they actually make it to classes at all... how is University otherwise? I'm still waiting to get Seasons, so it will be a while before I have that one.

    2. Well, this way you definitely keep us close to your story, checking your page for another update every hour. ;)

Technically, University Life is really fun. You have to decide between six types of studies (art, communication, science et cetera), which disappointed me a little in the beginning, but I had to find out that six is plenty already. :) To finish university, you have to attend a number of semesters (at least three), which includes going home in between. That way you don't get bored on the campus. One of the main problems is the routing system - it really sucks and it takes my sims ages to get anywhere. But that's not something that came with this addon, as we all know :D
