I spent my potential Sim time today uploading the Wonders!
(They're just on the Exchange because I'm not all techy like Susan.)
I
have both Supernatural and Human versions of the kids, aged to young
adult. I also put up an all human version of the whole family as it
stands now (Clark and Linda are teens, Kent is a child). There should
also be the supernatural version of the family, but it's not there and I
don't know why. I'll have to try to figure that out another day!
So, go here: DragonWife Studio
Unfortunately,
spending my whole morning editing sims and moving them in and out of
households and uploading them means that I didn't get any time to
actually play! There won't be a Hodgins update until I get more game
time, but I do have pictures ready to go for the Wonders so there should
be a new ISBI chapter later this week.
Ha!
ReplyDeleteThere's a trick to pulling out the package files if you're ever interested.
I keep meaning to export my ISBI household! Thanks for the reminder!
You know, looking at my studio, I can't tell if the human version of Clark made it either! I'll have to check on that, too.
DeleteOf course, hubby downloaded the new Dragon world last night so I probably won't get near the game for several days. He's very excited about pet dragons.
Sometimes the Exchange just drops the ball.
ReplyDeleteDid you upload a Supernatural version of the whole household? That's the one I was looking for but didn't see. Of course, if I'm going to add the household to Avalon, I probably should use the human version b/c Avalon doesn't have supernaturals except vampires at the moment.
I would like to add some, but I kind of want them to be special, so I haven't decided what I'm doing yet. Witches are easy, since they're essentially humans with magic ability, and spellcasting is established. Not sure what I'll be doing with weres and fairies, though I'd like there to be some in the game eventually.
OMG, the dragons, the world, and the the faire all look AWESOME. But I CANNOT buy them right now, dangit. I have more content than I can play, and EA will happily sell them all to me later. But it hurts, I tell you. Hurts!
My original vision for Avalon was much more high fantasy/medieval, though it turned out to be way too much of a pain in the butt to set up, and I really like what I did instead. If Dragon Valley had been around, or even Monte Vista with it's nice historic rabbitholes, I would probably have attempted the original vision.
There are two versions of Clark, but... I just can't tell. I did try to upload the supernatural version of the whole family, but I don't know where they went either! I'll try again, though.
DeleteWerewolves are turning out to be a lot more fun and interesting than I would have thought! Frank isn't even Insane and he fits right in with the family.
Hubby has been wandering around randomly saying "dragons!" all morning. It's a very pretty world from what I've seen. I love the rabbitholes.
All the supernatural races seem like so much fun. Sigh. So many ways to play, so little time!
DeleteBTW: I see Clark the fairy. I don't see the whole household as supers.
DeleteI'm pretty sure that the Clark that doesn't say anything is the human version, but I'm trying to upload him with that description so that it's more clear. Along with the whole family as supers, because they're not there at all.
DeleteBUT. Now I'm just getting "server error" whenever I try to upload from the launcher and they won't go! EA is trying to kill me.
Ok. I've tried and tried. My launcher says that they've uploaded but I don't see them on my page. Any ideas?
DeleteOoh! I must download these for the Bookabet file. The Wonders will be a fantastic fit ... Right, that's my weekend mission sorted :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that they get to play with the Bookabets! If only I could get the supernatural version of the family to upload...
