1.28 Werewolves don't need school

Previously on It's a Wonder-full Life: Um... it's been awhile, let me check... Oh yeah! Frank laughed at Death! Also, Linda got out of bed to pass out, which makes no sense at all. Unfortunately, it wasn't even the only time she passed out during that chapter. And Clark had a birthday and became an adorable teen fairy.

Kent has cute glow-y eyes. I'm not sure where the color came from, but I dig them!

I don't know what everyone is doing here, other than standing around staring in random directions. They should be doing something productive, like going to bed!

Screenshot-3

But, apparently, it's more fun to just stand there complaining that they're tired.

Screenshot-5

And then just standing there some more.

Frank apparently thinks that money grows in those trees... which may explain why he's in no rush to actually go to work most of the time!

Screenshot-6

I sent Diana over to distract Frank from just standing around, but then he and Clark started complaining about the furniture again. Clark is probably going to be happy to move out of this place and into a home where no one is scratching everything up!

Also, Linda apparently lost an arm.

Screenshot-8

Frank is stinky so I tried to get Diana to seduce him into the shower. Of course, she can't actually get to him because he's in her way!

Screenshot-12

Meanwhile, the only kid who is well rested came out to complain about the furniture.

Screenshot-14

And then he went to work destroying the last intact chair!

Screenshot-17

The school bus and carpool arrive every day. Does anyone see what's missing here?

Yep, the actual sims who are supposed to be getting into those vehicles!

Screenshot-20

Clark did finally dress up and run for the bus. He went all the way to school and then just stood outside smirking.

Screenshot-25

Eventually, he wandered around to the school's playground and took a nap on the bench. The blond woman there (I didn't write down who she was) just stood there and watched him. For hours.

Screenshot-26

Linda didn't go to school, of course. I'm pretty sure that she hasn't made it to school any day other than her very first day of school. She almost put herself to bed, but then Kent woke up complaining that he was hungry and she decided that he had a good point.

Screenshot-27

Meanwhile, Clark is still at school. And that girl is still staring at him.

Screenshot-31

Awww, look at all of the wolves! Frank went to feed Kent while Linda got herself a snack.

Screenshot-33

Then, he put Linda to bed! I love Frank.

Screenshot-34

I had Diana spend some time taking care of the rest of Kent's needs in the hopes that Frank would go get some sleep. It didn't work. He decided to just hang out in the rocking chair instead.

Screenshot-35

I noticed that the weird girl is creeping closer to Clark so I sent Diana to go bring him home.

Screenshot-36

He complained about being hungry and tired, of course. You know Clark, there's food at home... maybe you should try visiting!

I had Diana group up with Clark and take him home.

Screenshot-38

When they got there, Linda was out of bed again. Seriously, that kid pops out of bed all the time! No matter who puts her to bed or how many times!

I think Clark feels a little left out, though. Of course, he could hang out with Frank more if he came home from school!

On the plus side, no fails in this chapter!

  1. I could watch your sims for days without a break... everything they do is weird and unconventional. Let's face it - and it's stupid. :D I'm very glad that everybody is crazy in his/her own way, because there's nothing more boring than regular sims that do what you expect them to do.

Best line ever: "Frank apparently thinks that money grows in those trees...", in combination with that picture!

    1. They really are crazy! Once you get over the control issues, an ISBI is fascinating!

If only the idiots would got to school or work... ok, just work, we need the money!

    2. Right, later the kids can enter a job regardless of their grades...I sometimes dislike that it's so easy to get a new job - just "ask" and you're in. It would also be fun if they had to fulfil some requirements...

    3. I love the picture of Diana picking up Kent, and all the werewolves wandering around the house.

The money thing is a big deal! I somehow thought when I started this challenge, "Oh, the idiots can just have rabbithole jobs, and it'll be OK." But NO!! My sims are so poor, I don't think they actually can move. Bills have left them with less cash than a starting family.

    4. I know! Rabbithole jobs (and school) sounds all well and good and easy until you realize that they don't go on their own very often!

  2. I agree with you Susan. The picture of Diana and Kent is absolutely adorable! My other favourite picture was the one of a very hungry/angry Kent and Linda glaring daggers at him. To me, it also looks like the little werewolf is thinking of eating her baby brother for lunch. That'll stop him from screaming and waking her up! I'm very much looking forward to seeing where she'll take the second generation :)

    1. Kent is so cute. When he's not destroying furniture. Ok, even when he is destroying furniture.

Good point about how to stop Kent from waking up Linda... I can see that thought crossing her mind! Of course, she'd never actually eat her brother because then she'd have no excuse to avoid sleeping. She never sleeps!
